Pool & Spa Plumbing
Leak? Blockage? New
Equipment?
Finding pool and spa plumbing problems can be frustrating. Installing
new equipment and replacing old plumbing should be done with the
correct components to keep your pool running well and help make
future maintenance easier!
Pool Plumbing can be time and efficiency consuming let our professional
team diagnose your plumbing and resolve any issues while working with
your budget.
Small leaks in underground suction piping can result in a loss of pressure and
air being drawn in where water should flow. Usually the air leak is found to
be something simple and above-ground. Air could also be entering through
any glue joint or
threaded joint in
the plumbing
before the filter
pump.
Putting the
plumbing under
pressure, we're
able to locate the
leak with special equipment and more quickly make appropriate repairs.
What kind of plumbing
work might be needed
in a pool and spa?
We hope you need no plumbing work, but Perfection
Pools and Spas has seen quite a bit of plumbing needed
for existing pools that has given us the experience to
perform pool and spa plumbing efficiently at the lowest
costs. Here are examples of pluming work that can
occur:
Fixing a Leak (Water or Air)
•
Leaks may result in water escaping or air being
drawn into your pool equipment. Perfection has
equipment and techniques to find and fix these
leaks.
Fixing a Blockage
•
A foreign object may become so lodged inside of a
pipe that the best way to repair it is to remove and
replace the plumbing.
Adding a Water Auto-Fill
•
Avoid having to watch your pool level by installing
an auto-fill for your pool. This can avoid costly
damage to pumps due to low water levels.
Plumbing is needed from your house water supply
and a water-fill system added near your pool.
Replacement Equipment
•
When pool equipment such as a pump, filter, or
heater is replaced or added, often times new
plumbing around the change is required.
Salt-Water Conversion
•
Converting your pool from chlorine to a salt-water
system makes it much easier to maintain. A small
amount of plumbing work is usually needed for
this conversion.
Adding Solar Panels
•
Solar panels keep your pool warm at zero energy
cost. They can extend the length of your
swimming pool by keeping it warmer. You’ll need
new plumbing into the right locations of your
existing pool.
Damaged or Old Plumbing
•
PVC plumbing may be damaged by the sun,
damaged in an accident, or simply become old.
PVC valves can wear out or break.
