Own an elegant & unique pool or spa!

Small to major upgrades can result in elegant pool or spa lighting! Lighting can add safety for your pool, set a pleasant mood. Lighting can add beauty and unique features to your pool, making it look like a resort poolscape. Ask Perfection Pools & Spas how we can make this happen for you! Here are a few options

Replacement Pool

Lighting

It is relatively inexpensive to replace existing regular white light colored light that changes colors or can be adjusted to remain on one color. Perfection Pools & Spas knows how to change the under-water lighting with new light bulbs and elements. Older pools with incandescent lighting can have those lights replaced with energy efficient LED lighting.

New Installed Pool Lighting

Installing new lighting into built-in Pools is very disruptive and expensive because water must be removed, plaster broken, pool jack- hammered, and electrical installed. The only time this type of installation is recommended is if major renovation or re-plastering are already occurring. In such cases, the incremental cost to install new lighting may be lower. Check with Perfection Pools & Spas about your particular situation. New LED technology allows lighting retrofits to occur with much smaller devices. What other alternatives do you have? Many pool stores sell add-on and floating lighting for pools that may do the trick for your pool lighting needs. Perfection does not sell these types of lights.

What type of lighting

exists for pools?

There are many types of lighting for your pools. With the introduction of LED lighting, the vareity of options has increases significantly. More sophisticated systems can have remote control options.

Replacement “Edison

base” Lighting

This is the least expensive and most effective option. Typical light-bulbs for pools had the standard “Edison base” bulbs. These can be easily replaced with LED lighting without any modification to your pool. The process can be complicated to avoid leaks, but takes little time.

Perimeter Lighting

Strips of LEDs can be installed along the perimeter of your pool.

Underwater Fiber Optics

This lighting approach has the source of light away from the pool. Light is transferred through relatively thin fiber optic cables to the points of lighting in your pool. Some systems place points of light across the bottom of your pool that look like stars in the night.

Waterfall and Laminar Lighting

Placing lighting within water features of your pool could have the light follow the flow of the water like a fiber optic path. This occurs in pool laminar flow jets and pool fountains.
